Burlington Hat Pattern
Burlington Hat Pattern
On a recent trip to Vermont I found myself constantly tugging my hat down to cover more of my ears, and I knew it was time for an earflap hat. This one has oversized flaps for full coverage and extra warmth, and the lightweight roving it is made of keeps it from weighing your head down.
This is an easy level crochet pattern, and the techniques you will need to know are single crochet, sc2tog, and slip stitch.
Dimensions of finished hat:
Circumference, un-stretched: 20”/50.8cm
Height: 7.5”/19cm
Earflap Height: 4”/10cm
Earflap Width: 5”/12.7cm at widest point
Tassel Ties Length: 15”/38.1cm
