Moto Leg Warmers Pattern
Moto Leg Warmers Pattern
I’m all about using textures found on non-knit clothing to inspire my knitwear, and in this case it was leather that led me to designing the Moto Leg Warmers. I really love the quilted and padded leather look on moto jackets and pants, so I used that idea and translated it to some detailing on a pair of super rad leg warmers that are perfect for an extra layer of warmth over your favorite leggings.
This is an easy+ level knitting pattern, and the techniques used are knit, purl, make 1 left, and make 1 right as well as knitting on double pointed needles. The pattern contains detailed instructions and a photo tutorial on how to make the tubed/quilted/padded detailing on the knees as well as instructions for three sizes.
Dimensions of finished leg warmers:
Circumference, un-stretched: 8”/20.3cm (small), 9”/22.8cm (medium), 10”/25.4cm (large)
Length: 26.5”/67.3cm
