Raymond the Raccoon features a three dimensional stuffed tail on one end of the scarf while the shorter end is a paw that has a loop on the back to tuck the tail through in order to keep the scarf closed. 

This is an intermediate level knitting pattern that contains a small amount of beginner level crochet. The techniques used are: knit, purl, kfb, k2tog, ssk, single crochet, color chart reading, mattress stitch, and kitchener stitch.
